收藏着录: 故宫书画录(卷五),第三册,页59 收藏着录: 故宫书画图录,第一册,页255-256 内容简介(中文): 崔白(西元十一世纪),濠梁(今安徽凤阳)人,字子西,仁宗时(1022-1063)选入画院为艺学,工画花竹翎毛。根据记载,崔白以擅画枯荷凫雁而得名,故后人常将此类题材之作品归于其名下,本幅即是一例。构图用笔均简洁的坡岸、芦雁,与崔白写实的笔墨风格不相类,却有着元代古拙朴质的感觉。 内容简介(英文): Ts’ui Po, (style name Tzu-hsi) was a native of Hao-liang ( modern Feng-yang, Anhwei). He entered the painting academy during the reign of Jen-tsung(r.1022-1063) as a Student and specialized in painting birds, small animals, flowers, and bamboo. According to history descriptions, Ts’ui Po became famous for his depictions of withered lotuses and waterfowl. As a result, later collectors would often ascribe works of this subject matter to his name. This painting is such an example. However, the abbreviated nature of the composition and brushwork describing this goose resting on a shoal with reeds differs somewhat from the actual style associated with Ts’ui Po. This painting is related to the archaic and primitive styles advocated in the Yuan dynasty (1279-1368).
